Interview on KQRN 107.3 FM – Mitchell, SD – 10/18/18

CEO of Gladdy’s Goodies, Jason Dowd will be discussing what to do with your pet during a natural disaster and why it’s important to properly plan.

IN 2017, Jason and his wife had 3 dogs, one was very sick when a Cat. 5 hurricane named Irene hit the southern Florida coast.  By the time it hit Tampa it was a Cat 1.

He was in a mandatory evacuation zone but nobody would take his dogs at a rescue or shelter because of how sick the one dog was, so he stayed in his home to protect and take care of his little buddy.

They lost power for a week and had to find ways to keep the dogs medications cold, keep them comfortable in unbelievable heat and survive.

You’ll hear more about this story and tips and tricks to prepare your fur friends for potential natural disasters.
