What Personal Information About Customers Does Gladdy’s Goodies Gather?

The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your Gladdy’s Goodies experience. Here are the types of information we gather.

  • Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our stores, and communicating with you.
  • Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use “cookies,” and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses gladdysgoodies.com or advertisements and other content served by or on behalf of Gladdy’s Goodies on other Web sites.
  • E-mail Communications: We occasionally send e mails with new products or news about Gladdy’s Goodies.  This e mails can be unsubscribed from.  We do not sell or share e mail addresses. E mails are sent with every purchase and updates on shipping.

Does Gladdy’s Goodies Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below and with subsidiaries Gladdy’s Goodies controls that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

  • Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control: We work closely with affiliated businesses. In some cases consignment merchants sell products to you through Gladdy’s Goodies. In other cases, we operate stores, provide services, or sell product lines jointly with these businesses.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
  • Protection of Gladdy’s Goodies and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Gladdy’s Goodies, our users, or others. GDPR Compliant

Since some of our business may take place in Europe and other Eastern countries, Gladdy’s Goodies is compliant to those rules and regulations.  JRD Family Holding, D.B.A. Gladdy’s Goodies is the data controller of the personal information provided by the customer.  You may contact the data controller by e mailing gladdysgoodies@gmail.com.  At Gladdy’s Goodies we do not use any information provided to make any automated decisions except when using a credit card or PayPal account to pay for the merchandise, in which the information is provided to the bank using high encryption to charge the card or use the PayPal account to pay for the goods.  You do not have to sign up and have an account in order to purchase from Gladdy’s Goodies.  You may shop as a guest, information will still be required in order to process the transaction but those are not stored.  Failure to enter that information as a guest will result in the inability to purchase the goods.  The only reason Gladdy’s Goodies collects the information is to process the monetary fund transaction and to get the goods to you.  Since we are in the United States that information provided will be transferred to the US in order for our merchant service provider to charge the card and for us to ship the goods to the destination country.

Push Notification with One Signal

Upon installing our Gladdy’s Goodies app for Android or Apple platforms you will automatically receive occasional push notifications. To stop the notifications simply go into your privacy settings on your phone or tablet and turn off these notifications for Gladdy’s Goodies. We do limit the amount of notifications we send.

Please note that push notifications do not use your private information such as phone number, text or e mail. It’s self contained from inside the app.
